Chrisland University on Thursday matriculated over 300 new intakes into the varsity at the first phase of its 6th matriculation ceremony.
The matriculation, which marked the formal entry of the new students into the learning institution, was themed: “Purpose Driven”.
The guest speaker, Dr. Gbenga Adeoye, the Managing Partner of Gbenga Adeoye & Co (Chartered Accountants), delivered a lecture on the topic: “Character, Quality Education: Panacea for Success and Sustainable Wealth Creation.”
Adeoye implored the new matriculants of the institution to start well in the new journey they had begun in order to end well.
He also encouraged them to imbue themselves with a good character, develop good network, shun corrupt practices, and strive for excellence.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chinedum Peace Babalola, while welcoming the matriculants, urged them to be law abiding and industrious in their studies.
She added that Chrisland University has zero tolerance for cultism, hooliganism, disrespect and corruption
