Abducted teacher, student regain freedom in Edo

A teacher, Mr. Uzoaku Onyemaobi, 38, and a student, Elizabeth Ayim, 24, of the National Institute for Construction Technology, Uromi in Esan North east Local Government Area of Edo State, have been freed from their abductors .
The freed victims were abducted last Wednesday, and got their freedom on Monday.
It was reported that the release of the two victims unhurt was made possible by vigilance men of Uromi and police, who combed the forest and engaged the hoodlums in a gun battle, frocing the kidnappers to flee.
Police spokesman, Kontongs Bello, on Monday evening confirmed the release on the telephone, adding that the two reunited with their families.
