President Muhammadu Buhari and the Northern Governors on Thursday met behind closed door.

The meeting held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, was also attended by the Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari.

The governors present with the President are: Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu; Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai; Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong; Niger State Governor, Abubakar Bello; and Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule.
