Arsenal miss out on European football, first time in 25 years

Monday, 24 May 2021:  As the English Premier League come to an end of the season on Sunday 23rd May 2021, Arsenal Football Club were unable to qualify for next season’s Europa League.

This is as a result of the comeback by Tottenham Hotspur against Leicester City.

In a six goals thriller, which help the spurs in securing a spot in Europa League.

Although, the gunners defeated its opponent, Brighton Holve Albion on Sunday with brace by Nicolas Pepe but, it wasn't enough to send gunners to Europa next season, this is the first time in 25 years.

Arsenal head coach, Mikel Arteta, expressed his grievance and assure the fans to keep calm and promised them that by next season the gunners is going to be a title contenders in the Premier League, and it will regain its lost glory adding that the club will claim its rightful position in the English Premier League next season.

The Gunners management board also assured the fan to keep calm and have trust in the process of developing the team, as some players will be offloaded while quality players will be taking in by the time the transfer market is open.
