Delta Central – 2023 inaugurates officers, Senator Amori emerged as National Chairman

Monday, 24 May 2021: Chief (Senator) Ighoyota Amori has been sworn in as the National Chairman of DELTA CENTRAL- 2023 (DC-23) .

The swearing-in and inauguration Ceremony of DELTA CENTRAL- 2023 (DC-23) National Executive Committee/ BOT took place on Saturday, 22nd May 2021 at the PTI Conference Center, Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.

The Inauguration and the Oath of office were administered by Senior Advocate of Nigeria, (SAN), Chief (Barr) Efe Akpofure.

The ceremony was a huge success as who is who in Urhobo Politics were in attendance at the event, which is solely aimed at producing Urhobo Governor come 2023.

CEOAFRICA reports that Prof. Sam Oyovbaire, who was the Chairman of the occasion, was assisted by the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Chief (Hon.) Sheriff Oborevwor.

Other dignitaries at the event included the People’s Democratic Party, Delta Central Senatorial Chairman, Dr A. P. Fovie ; Rev Chris Ekabo (the Spiritual Farther of the day); and  Prof. Sunny Awhefeada  who was the Guest Speaker.

Others were Barr. William Etubiebi (BOT Chairman); Members of the National & State House of Assemblies (former & current) from Delta Central amongst others on the High table.

The organisers were hopeful that the aspiration of having the Delta central producing the next governor of the state in 2023 would be realizable. “With God on our side, Delta Central Governor in 2023, here we come. To God be all the glory,” they concluded.
