It is not over, until it is over for Crown FC striker, Bode Daniel and the General Manager, Bello Noah, as they have expressed optimism in the team’s chances of remaining in the NPFL next season.

The Ogbomoso-based pair in separate interviews expressed their resolve in the desire to escape relegation after suffering a 5-0 defeat at Kaduna United in a Week 27 played on Sunday.

Bode insists they will remain determined, hopeful and unmoved by the embarrassing result in Kaduna.

“We must focus and be optimistic after the defeat against Kaduna United, though we were disappointed, but we must keep the hopes alive. We must put everything in our upcoming games to get results,” Bode said.

However, Noah’s confidence of escaping relegation was stronger after defeating Nasarawa United 3-0  at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan in Week 26 encounter.

Noah said Crown FC is upbeat in picking points on the road as much as they would strive to avoid any slip ups at home to swim above the relegation zone at the end of the season.

“I told you before the game (against Nasarawa)I am convinced we can manage it and stay in the league, and after this victory I am even more convinced,” Noah said.

The 90 minutes regulation time will today justify how far the Crown can go amid these tough talking.
