AFCON: Keshi Names Enyeama, Moses, 22 Others For Sudan

Super Eagles head coach, Stephen Keshi has named Lille of France goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, Victor Moses of Stoke City and 22 others for next month’s 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier match against Sudan in Khartoum.

Keshi has also invited handful of new faces, including former junior international Raheem Lawal, China –based striker Aaron Samuel and relatively unknown Anyora Ugonna, who plays in Norway for the must-win encounter.

World Cup revelation Babatunde Michael also make a return to the team after the first two games against Congo in Calabar and Bafana Bafana of South Africa respectively to injury. Reading of England’s Hope Akpan and Austria –based forward Sunday Emmanuel were also included in the team.

African champions Nigeria must win both matches against pointless Sudan next month to have any realistic chance of reaching the finals in Morocco early next year.

Defenders: Elderson Echiejile, Juwon Oshaniwa, Efe Ambrose, Godfrey Oboabona, Azubuike Egwuekwe and Kenneth Omeruo.

Midfielders: John Mikel Obi, OgenyiOnazi, Nosa Igiebor, Omatsone Aluko, Hope Akpan Raheem Lawal and Anyora Ugonna.

 Forwards: Ahmed Musa, Emmanuel Emenike, Gbolahan Salami, Osaguona Ighodaro, Victor Moses, Aaron Samuel and Babatunde Michael
