Followers of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) in the eastern part of the country are sure to witness another thrilling football encounter on Sunday as Enyimba International of Aba host Heartland FC of Owerri in Aba.

Both teams have a misfortune of the Week 28 fixtures at midweek where the Owerri outfit inflicted a 2-0 defeat on bottom club, Nembe City, and Enyimba’s hope of closing in on Kano Pillars at the top of the table was dashed at Lobi as goalkeeper Terkaa Melai’s lone strike gave his side the three points at stake. Enyimba thus remained third on the table with 43 points from 28 games and will be focused on tomorrow’s home game against arch rival, Heartland.

Enyimba coach, Kadiri Ikhana said his team are unfazed by their midweek defeat to Lobi and will shift attention to the oriented derby on Sunday in Aba.

The Naze Millionaires in recent years have been fallen prey to the Peoples Elephant, but NPFL followers will be watching out if Owerri outfit could achieve double against this time after winning the first leg encounter in Owerri.
