Wednesday, 7th July 2021: The Federal College of Animal Health & Production Technology, (FCAH&PT), Moor Plantation Ibadan is to host her second annual conference and call for paper on 26th to 28th July 2021.
According to a statement by the management of the College, the theme of the annual conference is “Science, Technology and Innovation: Panacea for Nigeria’s growth and development in the post pandemic era”.
Oyo state governor, Engr. ‘Seyi Makinde would be the guest of honour at the conference while the Provost and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal College of Animal Health & Production Technology, Dr Adekoya Olatunde Owosibo is the Chief Host.
Prof L. B. Taiwo of the Institute of Agricultural Research and Training, (IAR&T) will be the Keynote Speaker. Prof. J. A. Adegoke of the Faculty of Science University of Ibadan and Dr K. K. Salman of the Faculty of Agriculture of University of Ibadan are the Lead Paper Presenters.
The annual conference sub themes included: Animal Health and Production, Animal science, Agricultural Economics and Agri-business, Agricultural Engineering and Crop Science.
Others are Wildlife and Conservation, Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Extension and Rural Development, Aquaculture and Fisheries Management, and Biological, Life and Natural Sciences, among others.
The conference venue is the College auditorium.
Early registration for the annual conference is Ten thousand Naira (N10,000) while late and venue registration is Fifteen thousand Naira (N15,000) only. Students’ registration is two thousand naira only.
