Berekum Chelsea have two weeks to pay former coach Hans Van der Pluijm a whopping US$ 210,000 for “aggravated breaches”.

Failure to do this could lead to expulsion from the Ghana Premier League. The breaches include outstanding salaries, monthly allowances and the coach’s share of the prize money Chelsea received from their participation in the 2012 CAF Champions League Group stage.

Van der Pluijm’s contract also entitled him to proceeds from the transfer of players during his tenure but he was not .

The Dutchman is Ghanaian by marriage, has worked in the country for more than a decade and was made Chelsea head coach in late 2011.
