All is set for Chrisland University 4-day hands-on training on Computer-Aided Scientific Research’

Monday- 9th August, 2021: All is set for the 4-day hands-on training, titled ‘Hands-on Computer-Aided Scientific Research’ of the Chrisland University, Abeokuta in collaboration with JARIS Computational Biology Centre, Jos.

The training is scheduled to hold today, Monday, 9th of August to Thursday, 12th of August 2021 at the University's campus in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.

The training venue is the University's campus in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.

In a statement, the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof Chinedum Peace Babalola, noted that face to face, hands-on workshop will be a golden opportunity for scientists conducting research on drug discovery, designs and interactions to learn in silico techniques that will help save time, energy and money spent on lab-based studies.

She disclosed that the topics to be treated are: A-Z Molecular Docking, Homology Modeling, ADMET Screening Hit and Lead Optimization, and Phamacophore Modelling

According to her, registration for student is Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15, 000.00) while non-student are to pay the sum of Twenty Five Thousand Naira (N25, 000.00) only.

The cost covers your training fees, lunch and tea, accommodation not included.
