The Vice Chancellor, Chrisland University, Prof. (Mrs.) Chinedum Peace Babalola, and her father, Sir Chief Dr. Isaac Anyabuike (PhD).
SATURDAY, 16th October, 2021: The Vice Chancellor, Chrisland University, Prof. (Mrs.) Chinedum Peace Babalola has dedicated her award of Fellow from the Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Owerri to her father Sir Chief Dr. Isaac Anyabuike (PhD).
Prof. Babalola had earlier on Thursday 14th conferred with a merit award of Fellow from the Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Owerri 27th convocation ceremony of the institution for her recommendable contribution to science and education in Nigeria.
In response to the award conferred upon her, the AU Laurent dedicated it to her father, Sir Chief Dr. Isaac Anyabuike (PhD) who was a lecturer at the institution.
CEOAFRICA gathered that Sir Chief Dr. Isaac Anyabuike (PhD) worked as a lecturer in the Department of Religious Studies at Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education for 30 years.
It was also revealed that in response to the honour bestowed upon his daughter, Sir Chief Dr. Isaac Anyabuike (PhD) sent goodwill messages to the Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Owerri, Imo State.
Also, the family of Sir Chief Dr. Isaac Anyabuike (PhD) in honour of their patriarch has promised to endow an annual prize to the best graduating student of the institution from the Department of Religious Studies.
Prof. Babalola who was conferred with the fellowship awards alongside Chief Engr. Emmanuel C. Iwuanyanwu; Archbishop of Owerri Catholic Archdiocese, His grace, Most Rev. Anthony J.V. Obinna; Prof. Ernest N. Emenyonu; Chief Chukwuma Ekomaru (SAN); Chief Leonard Stanley Ekeh; Hon. Deacon Chike Okafor; Prof. Benjamin Osisioma; and Capt. Emmanuel Iheanacho, was the only female among the 9 fellowship award category.
