The equipment’s which were purchased In order to enhance the institution’s research method include Oxygen Bomb Calorimeter, BIOBASE Machines, Industrial Alkaline Meter, Moisture Content Detector or the Kjeidahl Analyzer/apparatus.

The Executive Director of IAR&T Prof Veronica Obatolu ably represented by the Deputy Director, Dr Olaide Saka while declaring the training programme open urged the participants to take advantage of this special training to master all the machines for quality output.

Prof Obatolu further stated that the Institute under her leadership will continue to train and retrain members of staff towards making IAR&T the leading Agricultural Reearch Institute in Africa,

The Industrial Alkaline Meter is used to calculate or measure the alkaline, sodium and calcium in a sample, the machine, experts say, will help to control and reduce excess of alkaline in the body system, crops, seeds or samples.

A Moisture Content Detector is use to calculate the Nitrogen, protein in a sample or food, it is used to know the level of protein the body consumes, it can grind and dry samples before testing the level of the Nitrogen contain in an object.

BIOBASE Machines are machines used to dry a wet sample before using it, it consists of temperature regulator that allow the user to regulate it to the temperature he/she want before use.
