Update: eNaira speed wallet back on Google Play store — 24 hours after removal

THURSDAY- 28th October, 2021: The eNaira speed wallet application is back online after 24 hours which it was pulled down from the Google Play store.
Recall that the app disappeared from the Google Play store on Wednesday after over 100,000 users had downloaded it.
The eNaira has two applications — eNaira speed wallet and eNaira speed merchant wallet.
Nigerians, since the release of the applications have expressed their displeasure with the tedious registration processes as part of the requirements.
Speaking on why it was removed from play store, Osita Nwanisobi, spokesperson of the CBN, on Thursday said that the removal was to help the apex bank upgrade the app’s functionalities.
He said the application is now back online.
