MONDAY- 15th November, 2021: All is set for the 39th Annual Conference of the Horticultural Society of Nigeria (HORTSON), in collaboration with the Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria (CRIN).
The Conference is tagged “The role of Horticulture and Sustainable Health in era of Climate Change and Covid-19 Pandemic.”
A release from local Organizing Committee which was made available to CEOAFRICA stated that the event will kick-off with the opening ceremony on the 14th November,2021 at the Lawrence Opeke Conference Hall, CRIN, Ibadan, Oyo State which the conference will run through to 18th of November 2021
The members of the society and the public are enjoined to be part of the historic scientific conference of the Horticultural Society of Nigeria (HORTSON), which was established in 1977 and is a registered society in Nigeria, as one of the most respected and influential professional societies for horticultural scientists.
HORTSON comprised of thousands of members within and outside Nigeria, and also represents a broad cross-section of the horticultural community - scientists, educators, students, landscape managers, government and industry professionals.
The annual conference is held to provide a meeting point for members and stakeholders far and wide to meet and discuss issues that affect the society, proffer solutions and point the way forward.
