Oyo State police command has recorded an unprecedented achievement in the last few months with about 21 posh cars recovered from the armed robbers.

Also three men who are goats rustlers were paraded .About 17 goats were recovered from the goats rustlers arrested in Oyo/Ogbomoso axis.

Parading the suspects yesterday, the State Commissioner of Police, Mr Kola Sodipo said a Pastor reported on July 22 at Sanyo Police station that four armed men stormed his residence and dispossessed of One Sony Laptop, one Samsung I-pad, one Apple I-Pad, three assorted cell phones of different types, Six assorted wrist watches a sum of #140,000, and one of them eventually raped his daughter after which they escaped with his two cars, a Toyota Corrolla car blue colour amrked MK 382 AAA and a Mercedes Benz ash colour marked GGE 278 CK.

He said the Mercedes Benz. Car was later abandoned by the armed robbers due to mechanical fault.

The case, according to him was later transferred to SARs Oyo/Ogbomoso axis for further investigation. "Upon information,  Ayodele Ademola, Oluwatobi Afolabi, Olufemi Morakinyo a.k. a FM and Azeez Rafiu a.k.a Ibadan were arrested. Also recovered were a cut to size single barrel gun and two Nokia cell phones".

Others members of the robbery syndicate were later arrested. "All of them have made" confessional statement

He added that SARs operatives from Oyo/Ogbomoso axis led by Sgt Adeyemo Joel while on patrol sighted a Mazda 626 Saloon car marked Lagos JJJ 765 CY with three occupants looking rough and suspicious.

He said the operative then asked driver to stop for routine check but he ran into bush 

"The operative gave the vehicle a hot chase and later intercepted the vehicle inside Oyo town

"When the vehicle was searched, the following items were recovered 17 live female goats, modules of beans and some black cellotape.
