Barely 24 hours before the crucial 2015 African Nations Cup, AFCON, qualifier against Sudan on Wednesday, 15 October, 2014, and reports emanating from Nigeria’s Super Eagles camp in Abuja inform that CSKA Moscow winger Ahmed Musa is battling to be fit for the match.

According to the report, Musa, who was substituted in the 1-0 loss to Sudan in Khartoum last weekend could not train with the rest of the Eagles’ team Monday’s evening.

It was gathered that the former Kano Pillars player is carrying a knock suffered from the Sudan game and is now in danger of missing the encounter against the Falcons of Jediane.

Meanwhile, national team officials assured that Musa would be fit in time for Wednesday match in Abuja, stating that the 21-year old forward sitting out training today was a precautionary measure.
