Alao-Akala commiserates with victims of Molete dIsaster

Former Governor of Oyo State,Chief Adebayo Alao-Akala has commiserated with the victims of last Saturday fire disaster which occurred at  Molete round-about in Ibadan.

The former governor said this in a release he personally signed and made available journalists in Ibadan yesterday.

It would recalled that the inferno which occurred on Saturday night around 9.00pm involve a tanker driver carrying fuel which poured its content under the Molete

Flyover and resulted in fire outbreak which claimed lives with several shops burnt into ashes.

Alao-Akala described the incident as unfortunate and disheartening, saying the rate of fire incidence in recent times was alarming.

``It is unfortunate to lose people again to such fire incidence in the state. This inferno has again wrecked havoc to the businesses of some citizens who have through thick and thin build their businesses.

``I therefore use this medium to commiserate with families of those who lost their lives to the incident, likewise those who had their shops, goods and houses burnt. I pray that Almighty God grant them succour,’’ The statement said.
