The swearing-in ceremony of the governor-elect of Ekiti State, Peter Ayodele Fayose, takes place at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, in Ado-Ekiti, where thousands of people and members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gathered to witness the event.

Meanwhile, the outgoing governor, Kayode Fayemi, bows out, thanks the people of Ekiti for their support. Public figures from all the spheres of life were moving into the state capital, Ado-Ekiti, in their hundreds for participating in today’s inauguration ceremony.
