Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, has said that he will cry about his striker crisis, as he prepares to face Manchester United on Sunday.

The Blues have been without leading scorer Diego Costa for two games, after he returned injured from the last international break. And on Tuesday night, Loic Remy limped off with a groin problem, after scoring the first goal against Maribor.

It leaves Mourinho with 36-year-old Didier Drogba as his only fit front man.

“Loic has a muscular injury. I don’t know the dimension and I’m not worried. When a player is injured – play another one,” Mourinho said.

“We don’t cry on injuries. It’s our philosophy, we don’t cry. We just think one injury means an opportunity for somebody else.”

Asked whether Remy or Costa had a chance of making the Blues’ team on Sunday, Mourinho added: “No, I don’t expect any other one. I don’t like to speak about injured players.

“Tomorrow is day off and the doctor is forbidden to call me to speak about injuries. I don’t want to speak about injuries or Manchester United. I don’t want to know.”
