The families of the train victims picketed the Ministry of Transportation on Monday to protest against the continued stay of their loved ones in the terrorists’ den.
This came after the terrorists released a video where the male victims were being mercilessly flogged.
The families who have been at the ministry since 6 am said they were there to express their frustration over the continued stay of those in captivity.
They vowed not to leave until they were assured of the return of their loved ones.
Terrorists responsible for the March 28 attack on a Kaduna-bound train had released a video of them whipping their victims and threatening to abduct President Muhammadu Buhari as well as Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir El- Rufai.
In the eleven-minute video released by the insurgents, the male victims were separated from the women, after which they were flogged mercilessly with make-shift canes.
The exhausted victims appealed to the international community such as the United Nations, African Union and Saudi Arabia to come to their aid since according to them, the Nigerian government has failed to rescue them from the hands of the terrorists.
