“The Sky is not the Limit, Your Mind is”- Dr Babajide Ojo admonishes graduating students

The students, management and staff of His Majesty Global Schools would always remember 2nd August, 2022 for joy as they graciously marked the 6th Graduation Ceremony and Awards and Prize Giving Day in grand style. The school which was established in 2016 has become one of he leading primary and secondry school in Ibadan , the capital of Oyo State .

The colourful event which took place at the serene environment of the College at Ido, Ibadan, Oyo State was graced by students, parents and different  personalities from all walks of life .

In his welcome address,  the Founder of the College, Dr Babajide Ojo expressed his joy for the historic event which he described as glorious feats to really celebrate. While commending the graduating class for the painstaking journey they have made, he further  congratulated them specially for arriving safely which he  said is the hallmark of hard work.

Baring his mind,  the Erudite scholar  told the graduating  student that their present attainment should not be their limit as they are expected to keep up the pace of growth to the peak. “The sky is not the limit, your mind is.” He advised.

Dr Ojo further admonish them on challenges of life based on his life experience. “As we grow, obstacles started coming up to weigh me down and make the journey of life a difficult one, but inside me, I resolved not to give up. I was so desperate to succeed and come top in academic works, so that I can become a better person.

You all must  always note that challenges and hindrances may come, but never give in because tough seasons are usually short. Therefore, always be prepared to jump over your obstacles.” He urged.

His Majesty founder  urged   them to be positive about life, he furthered  enjoined them to have bigger goals; improve skills; overcome low self esteem; generate ideas; get things done no matter what; take action often; and become a role model to the upcoming generation.

On the vision for the school, Dr Ojo asserted that students in their school are prepared for global standard so that they can compete favourably wherever they are. “That is why we make sure they work very hard because  that is the only way they can stand out.

We also have teachers of foreign languages to teach our students international languages because language is a powerful tool to success. By this, when they go beyond our shores, they can always relax and fit in.” He stated .

In his welcome address to the graduation ceremony, Mr S O. Daniel described the occasion as “the culmination of years of hard works, the actualization of goals and the acknowledgement of successes achieved. It is only fitting therefore that a day like this should commemorate the road that we have all travelled together these last few years.” While congratulating and thanking all that have supported the success story, he singled out the staff of the college, Dr. Babajide Ojo and Mrs Stella Ojo, for their unwavering and commendable supports.

The guest speaker,  Prof. Ode Emmanuel in his speech advised the graduating  students to be focused and not  be distracted by the fantasy of the world. On the present state of the country, the erudite  Professor urged everyone to be hopeful and expectant of a positive turn around soon.

One of the graduating students, Oyerinde Emmanuel who spoke with CEOAFRICA highly commended the school management for their dedication and devotion to intellectual works. He prided the school as one institution that would always recommend for parents to send their wards.

The colourful graduation ceremony was spiced with activities which include:  cultural drumming and dancing, playlets, exibitions, and awards to deserving students in different fields.
