The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun, on Monday charged the newly-installed Mogajis and Baales in Ibadanland to ensure security in their respective domains through peaceful co-existence of all the residents and prompt report of any breach of the peace to appropriate quarters.

The monarch in a statement by his Personal Assistant Oladele Ogunsola gave the charge during the installation of the new community leaders held at the main hall of Aliiwo Ruling House, Agodi, Ibadan, which had in attendance members of the Olubadan-in-Council and other stakeholders in Ibadan traditional institutions.

Oba Balogun noted that the newly-installed chiefs are coming on board at the very critical period in the life of the country in general and Ibadanland in particular as far as security challenges are concerned.

The monarch also commended the security agents for the peaceful conduct of the installation exercise and urged them to keep up the good work and that his reign would ensure fairness, equity and justice in the installation of Mogajis and Baales.
