The residents of Aladja community in Udu Local Government area of Delta State on Friday raised alarm that the community was being shot at by the residents of Ogbe-Ijoh community in Warri South-West Local Government.
It was reported that the Ogbe-Ijoh community was alleged of shooting sporadically at Aladje as a result of the 7-days ultimatum given by Ogbe-Ijoh to the State Boundary Demarcation committee to rebuild buildings destroyed in the area had lapsed.
Comrade Ighotegwolor Bezi a resident of the community who raised the alarm in Warri said;
“No one has been wounded or killed at the moment, but the area is tense.’’
“We are calling on the relevant security agencies, including the Delta State Government to come to the rescue of the people of Aladja community before the situation gets out of hand.”
Bezi also warned that the residents of Aladja  will not fold their hands and allow the attackers to go scot free.
It was reported that the residents of the Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom interest Defensive Forum had earlier alleged the State Boundary Demarcation committee of ‘’unlawful destruction of their buildings in the process of marking out boundary demarcation lines’’
