Manchester United players returned from Moldova with food poisoning, where they played against FC Sheriff in the Europa League last Thursday.
It was reported that the United had won the match with  2-0 win on their first trip to the Eastern European Country with first-half goals from Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The win had made the Club bounce back from their defeat against Real Sociedad in the competition.
However, at least 12 members of the squad began to feel ill upon their return on Friday morning, the team flew back to the UK on a private jet after the game, but yet still picked up an unknown illness, which is believed could have come from something they ate or from the plane itself.
A few players missed the scheduled recovery training session on Friday at Carrington, while some were still too sick to turn up.
Meanwhile, the Home-Match between United and Leeds United scheduled for Sunday, had been postponed due to lack of Police availability ahead of the Queen’s State Funeral slated for Monday at Westminster Abbey.
