President Muhammadu Buhari will on Monday (today) attend the investiture ceremony of Mahamat Idriss Itno, as President of the Transitional Team in the Republic of Chad for two years.
The Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the President, Garba Shehu, disclosed this in a signed statement titled; ‘President Buhari to attend the investiture of Mahamat Idriss Deby as transition President in Chad, on Sunday.
The statement read; “The ceremony, which will hold at the capital, N’Djamena, will further accentuate negotiations on peaceful and harmonious return to the democratic process in the country, following the passing of the former President, Idriss Itno in April 2021.”
