A gas plant along the Obirikwere bridge in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Wednesday, caught fire.
It was reported that the incident happened around 8am.
The Federal Fire Service officials were called to put out the fire.
An official of the fire service, who spoke with Newsmen said the fire was caused by a “leakage from a tank” in the gas station.
The number of casualties are unknown but eyewitnesses accounts states that at least three people may have been affected by the fire.
