President Buhari signs Nigeria startup bill into law

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, signed the Nigeria Start-Up Bill into Law.
Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, announced this after meeting with the President at the State House.
Pantami said the Start-Up Law passed on July 20, 2022 was initiated by the Executive arm and seeks to create an enabling environment for tech-based start-ups in Nigeria.
The Minister said the law holds enormous benefits for the economy and will aid young start-ups to identify and express their business challenges much easier.
Based on the provisions of the law, the Federal Government plans to set up a N10 billion Fund of startups in the country.
