The New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) presidential candidate, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, has dismissed speculations of merger talks or collapsing its campaign for any presidential candidate or party ahead of the 2023 general elections.
This was disclosed by Kwankwaso’s spokesperson, Ladipo Johnson, during an interview with Channels Television Sunrise Daily on Wednesday.
Johnson said there are no talks of the Presidential candidate stepping down for another person.
He said; “It’s too late for mergers and there is no talk of collapsing the campaign, Kwankwaso’s campaign, or the NNPP campaign at any level at the moment with any of the party or any of the candidates, that is not on the card yet.
“What I meant when I say not yet is that we are going all the way to February 25 next year.”
Recall that there are speculations that NNPP flag bearer will step down for another presidential candidate before 2023.
