The Lagos State Police Command, Public Relation officer (PRO), SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has said a traffic robber was arrested at the Otedola bridge in the early hours of Wednesday.
Hundeyin disclosed this in a tweet on his verified Twitter page.
The PRO said the robber was arrested and dangerous items were recovered from him, including a locally fabricated toy guy.
His wrote; “Officers of the Alausa Police Division at 2 am today arrested a traffic robber who had in his possession a locally fabricated toy gun and other dangerous items, on Otedola bridge, shortly after robbing a motorist of his valuables.
“Investigation is ongoing.”
In the picture of the thief posted by Hundeyin, hand gloves, screwdrivers and a lighter could be seen as the suspect knelt down in the Lagos police custody.
