The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is currently presenting the 2023 appropriation Bill to the State House of Assembly.
Sanwo-Olu, on Thursday stands before the Assembly as he defends the proposed 2023 budget.
During the presentation, Sanwo-Olu said the new Blue Line and Red Line rails will commence operations by the first quarter of 2023.
The Governor said the new rails will generate thousands of jobs upon their commencement of service.
