Ahead of the 2022 edition of Nigerian Colleges of Agriculture and other Related Discipline Games (NICARDGA), tagged ‘Ibadan 2022’, the organisers have planned a press briefing, to give details of the games and all the preparations that have been made.
Recall that CEOAFRICA had earlier reported that the games will hold between 13th and 27th November, 2022.
In preparation for the game and to sensitize the public on its importance, the organisers of the sporting events have scheduled a media chat for Tuesday, November 1, as contained in a statement made available to CEOAFRICA, at the AERES Training Hall of the Federal College of Animal Health and Technology, Ibadan.
Meanwhile, the sporting event, which will take place from 13th to 27th November, 2022, will be held at Federal Cooperate College, Federal College of Agriculture and Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, all in Ibadan, with about 30 colleges of agriculture, across the nation, participating.
The organisers had earlier expressed optimism that the games, which provide fertile ground for discovering raw talents, would further help to divert youths’ attention from cultism and other social vices to productive activities.
They also stressed that the games would boost the economy of Oyo state, stating that people, who will come for the sporting events, both as participants and as spectators, will patronise local sellers, who will be displaying their goods and services, within the period of the games.
