From Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda, CEOAFRICA.com gathered that the government of the country has pointed accusing fingers at the forces of Democratic Republic of Congo for firing into its territory.

Officials said more than 30 bombs and rockets have been fired across the border in the ongoing fight, adding that one woman was killed by a cross-border bomb while her two-month-old baby was seriously injured in the town of Rubavu yesterday.

This came after Rwanda government was accused by DRC government and U.N. peacekeeping force, for backing the M23 rebel group.

Meanwhile, U.N. spokesman Farhan Haq, said there was new fighting Thursday between DRC forces and M23 in Kibati, north of Goma. He expressed continuous support for the DRC forces in their quest to overcome the M23 rebels.
"The U.N. force continues to support this operations including with the use of artillery and attack helicopters."
Also, the U.N peacekeeper killed last Wednesday by the M23 rebel group was confirmed to be a Tanzanian
