The VC lamented many misfortunes that have befell us because of endemic corruption that has beclouded our national life and values. Prof Babalola harped on the imperative need to reevaluate our interest and direct our politics and interest towards nation building.’’

As a young institution, Chrisland University has raised two professors that we can call Chrisland appointed professors.By the time we start appointing our own professors, we felt the need for inaugural lecture. Inaugural lectures are opportunities for professors to tell the world what really makes them professors. Prof Babafemi Adesina Badejo of Political Science and International Relations is therefore the first appointed professor of Chrisland University and the first to give inaugural lecture."
