Chairman Foreign Links Campus in Moro, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Dr Fola Akinosun, has got the Oyo South senatorial ticket of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

He got the ticket on Wednesday at a ceremony which has SDP national leader, Chief Olu Falae and other party leaders from across the country in attendance.

Akinosun said the SDP is the party of youths, who are not politically polluted. He added that a youth, Mr Seyi Makinde, is the leader of the party in Oyo State.

Going down memory lane, Akinosun recollected that the symbol of SDP, the white horse, as found on Nigeria’s Coat of Arm, is a symbol of peace.
