5th Convocation: Chrisland University holds thanksgiving service for graduands

Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Ogun State on Wednesday held a special inter-denominational thanksgiving service for the for the just concluded 5th Convocation ceremony of the great citadel of learning.

The thanksgiving service which was one of the series of events to round off the convocation ceremony was attended by the graduands, management staff, well-wishers and friends of the institution.

CEOAFRICA had earlier reported that Chrisland University held her 5th Convocation ceremony on Tuesday, 31st October, 2023.

The activities of the ceremony began on Sunday 29th October 2023 and ended on 1st November, 2023, with a thanksgiving service, which was held at the school premises.

The preacher, Rt Rev Collins Olufemi Babalola, the Diocesan Bishop of Ajayi Crowther, Church of Nigeria. (Anglican Communion) Iseyin, Oyo State spoke on the subject that he titled “Increasing Capacity Building, to Actualized God’s Given Destiny” or “Increasing Capacity Building, for maximization of our potentials”.

Taking his reading from the book of 2 Kings 4: 1, Bishop Babalola said that doing the right thing at the right time is key to becoming a happy Christian.

Speaking further, Babalola urged the graduands to make sure that whatever they are doing is in line with God’s given vision for their lives.
