One of the leading private universities in Africa, Chrisland University has continued to shine the light as the Faculty of Nursing who presented their first set of nursing students for the Professional basic nursing examination which took place on the 7th to 10th of November, 2023 recorded a 100% pass in their oral and practical assessment. This result ultimately qualifies them as Registered Nurses (RN).

The Vice-Chancellor Prof Chinedum Peace Babalola in her congratulatory message commended the Dean, College of Basic Medical Sciences, Prof Prisca Adejumo, a professor of Medical Surgical Nursing as well as Medical Sociology on her unwavering commitment and devotion in deploying all available resources into achieving this feat. Prof Adejumo who was recently inducted into the International Nursing Hall of Fame worked closely with the faculty led by the HOD Nursing Prof I. Akpabioa, a professor of Community Health Nursing and other lecturers and staff of the Faculty to ensure that the journey of 5 years ended with an outstanding performance.
This has placed the University in a vantage position and the envy of all at the calibre and capacity of nursing graduates we are producing.
Prof Babalola, the Africa Union laurate further stated that the Management is however grateful to God and members of Staff at the College, for bringing out the best in the students and deploying all resources and holding nothing back at ensuring that Chrisland University continues to soar high and produce outstanding graduates of world standard.
