The United States Secretary of State, Antony Blinken has met President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

This comes after he arrived at the State House, at about 6:50 pm on Tuesday and was received at the forecourt of the State House by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuga, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, and some other government officials.

He is expected to have bilateral talks with his host, President Tinubu and after that, he will depart to Lagos for other engagements scheduled for today, Wednesday, Jan. 24.

He is expected to depart Nigeria for Angola later tomorrow night.
