Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson has said President Goodluck Jonathan will emerge victorious at the 2015 presidential election because of his scorecard and credibility.

The governor also urged Bayelsans to pray for the leaders of the state and Federal Government to overcome the difficult circumstances the administration was going through.

Dickson made the call in his message to Bayelsans at the last edition of the state’s monthly praise night at the King of Glory Chapel, Government House, Yenagoa, a statement on Tuesday by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Daniel Iworiso-Markson, said.

He said, “President Goodluck Jonathan will emerge victorious at the 2015 elections because of his scorecard and credibility.

“With constant prayers from Bayelsans and leaders at all levels, he would emerge victorious, because God answers prayers.

“I wish all Bayelsans a prosperous crises-free 2015; there will be security and peace across the land.”
The governor prophesied that there would be unprecedented progress and development in the land of Bayelsa in the New Year.

“I thank God for his mercies for the state, the crises-free election and tremendous level of infrastructural development across the state,” he said.

Dickson was full of praises for the Peoples Democratic Party in Bayelsa for conducting rancour-free party primaries, noting that there was no victor no vanquished.

He renewed his call on all registered voters across the state to collect their permanent voters’ cards, noting that over 75 per cent of voters have already collected their PVCs.

Also, Chairman of the Bayelsa State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Most Rev. Israel Ege, urged Bayelsans to fear God and praise Him as that would turn around every negative situation the state was going through.

The highpoint of the praise night was the offer of prayers for the peace and security of the state and the country as well as songs and praise ministrations from the King of Glory chapel choir.
