Dr. Bode Olajumoke
The Senatorial Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in the Ondo North Senatorial District of Ondo State, Dr. Bode Olajumoke yesterday called for truce in the crisis bedevilling the party.
He appealed to the aggrieved members of the party in the state to bury the hatchet and come fully on board for victory for the party in the 2015 elections.
This is coming as jubilation greeted the acceptance and clearance by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of the Senatorial and the House of Representatives’ candidates.
The PDP supporters across the three senatorial district trooped to the streets to jubilate the display of the list of candidates.
Olajumoke while addressing PDP top shots in the District at his Campaign Organization office in Akungba Akoko, asked them to join hands with Governor Mimiko in his quest for victory for the Party.
He said plans are on for him to commence the tour of Local Government Areas from January 5, 2015 to meet party stalwarts and flag off their mobilization of the electorate to vote the PDP back into power at the state and national levels.
According to him, there is no stronger alternative to the PDP in Ondo State, especially in the light of the coming together of the two leading parties in the state.
