The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun State, Prince Gboyega Isiaka has pledged to reconcile former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel and Chairman, Mobilisation and Organisation committee of the PDP in South West, Prince Buruji Kashamu, ahead of the coming elections.

Isiaka, popularly called GNI, who stated this during the inauguration of Goodluck and GNI youth movement, GnG, in Abeokuta, yesterday, disclosed that, he had begun the moves  to reconcile all aggrieved members of the party.

Obasanjo, Daniel and others have been having issues with Kashamu, who is in control of the party structure in the state.

Speaking shortly after the inauguration of the youth movement, whose members will serve as the foot soldiers for both the President and Isiaka during the electioneering campaign, Isiaka commended the organisers of the GNG led by Fatai Adesegun and pledged not to disappoint them if voted into power.

Isiaka said discussions were on-going with all the aggrieved members and leaders, describing them as important members of the family.

He said “our state is blessed with very giant and accomplished men. And the responsibility of the governor is to manage all of these. It is my responsibility to reconcile Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, Prince Buruji Kashamu and a lot of others.

“There are grouses here and there, but we are working on it. We are hopeful that we get most of it resolved, we might not get all of it resolved, but we will get most of it resolved”, he said.

Meanwhile, some prominent leaders of Ogun West have pledged support for the governorship candidate of the PDP in the state, asking the people to vote for him in the governorship election.
