The Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University, Ogun State, Professor Chinedum Peace Babalola, has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of easter celebration, she decried the growing menace of immorality and perversions of the socio-cultural systems of the country, emphasizing the need for restoration of godly virtues in the country as Christians are celebrating Easter.

She expressed this in a statement obtained by CEOAFRICA, where she prayed for the country on behalf of the management of the institution.

Babalola noted that Easter celebration is not just to count seasons, but to reflect on the significance of the death and resurrection of Jesus which is for every to live a new life of righteousness and holiness.

The VC urged government leaders to take right steps and decisions at ensuring peace, tranquillity and security for every citizen of the country.

“We look forward to a great Nigeria where peace is restored, and security is assured,” she said.
