All is set for the 547th Inaugural lecture of the University of Ibadan, which will be delivered by Professor Adetola Jenyo-Oni of the Department of Aquaculture and Fisheries Management, Faculty of Renewable Natural Resources.

The lecture is titled “From Aquatic Splendour to Wealth Creation: Towards Sustainable Management of Nigeria’s Wetland Fisheries Resources”.

The general public are invited to the lecture which will be holding at Trenchard Hall, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria by 5pm today.

Inaugural lectures are auspicious occasion for universities to acknowledge the promotion or appointment of new, full professors and introduce them to the academic and non-academic community. It also provides the professors the opportunity to share their achievements in research, innovation, engagement, and teaching activities before an audience of the university community and the public.
