The President of the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA), Dr. Victor M. Bem, has joined Muslim faithfuls across the globe to rejoice in the festivities of Eid-El-Fitr which signifies the conclusion of the sacred month of Ramadan.

In his goodwill message obtained by CEOAFRICA, the President of ANUPA wished Muslim faithfuls in the Association and Nigeria the best of the season, urging the need to continue to pray for the unity and progress of the country.

According to the ANUPA boss, “As we enjoy the festivities of Eid-El-Fitr, a joyful celebration of the completion of Ramadan, the lessons and exercises of the fasting period must remain with us and not be left behind. Nigeria currently needs our prayers, and we must all join hands to pray for her unity and progress.”

Stressing the significance of the auspicious occasion, Dr. Bem highlighted that Eid-El-Fitr is a time of reflection, forgiveness, and dedication, which must remain the watchword of every Nigeria even after the holy month of Ramadan.

“The exercise and practices engaged during the period of the fast must characterize our everyday lives if we want to see a better Nigeria,” he said in the statement.

He further encouraged the need to maintain purity and sanctity observed during the Ramadan fast, charging that the celebration of the conclusion of Ramadan must include extending the values of sacrifice and resilience beyond fasting period. This, he said, will not only serve as a foundation “for the transformation of the country which we seek,” but also an improvement on individual lives and families.

The Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA) is envisioned to contribute to strategic transformation of Nigerian universities into citadels of excellence in learning, and on a mission to be the source and symbol of administrative excellence in Nigerian universities.
