Ethiopian billionaire, a construction and real estate mogul, Samuel Tafesse has an estimated net worth of $1.6 billion. He owns investment company, Sunshine Construction Plc and construction company, Sunshine Construction (Pvt) Ltd which he serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Sunshine Construction was established in 1984 He started as an individual contractor going home to home and fixing people’s roofs, and turned the business in to one of the top construction and real estate companies in the country.

The Addis Ababa-based company reportedly financed and built Marriott International Hotel’s executive apartments in Ethiopia.
