As all is set for the 27th annual national conference of the Association of Industrial Pharmacists of Nigeria (NAIP) coming up on June 4-8, 2024, in Ibadan, Oyo State, CEOAFRICA brings you the impressive profile of the Keynote Address Speaker, Prof. Oludele Adelanwa Itiola of the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Ibadan.

To underscore the credibility and suitability of Prof. Itiola for NAIP Oluyole 2024, he is a Professor of pharmaceutical technology, a Fellow of PSN, IIA, and numerous scientific associations. He served in various capacities in five different federal universities and was a former Rector of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta.

The professor was the pioneer Director of the Directorate of Quality Assurance in the University of Ibadan. He is a recipient of the University of Ibadan Senate research grant award, individual research grant award, phytomedicine research grant award, interfaculty multidisciplinary research grant award, among numerous other awards.

Itiola has 107 publications across various subjects of professional competence. He is also a lead investigator in several research projects.

In an exclusive interview with CEOAFRICA (NAIP official media partner), the NAIP National Chairman, Pharm. Kenneth Onuegbu, said NAIP executives will storm the ancient city of Ibadan on July 4th, particularly the Oluyole Industrial Area to sensitize the populace on the activities of the association.

“We are fully prepared. We are fully prepared in terms of mobilization and security among other things,” Onuegbu said.

He explained that NAIP members and industry stakeholders will be welcomed to the event on June 4. There will be a health walk on the morning of June 5; a medical outreach in the afternoon; and an excursion to select NAIP member companies in the evening. The conference’s opening ceremony is on June 6, and a membership Dinner and Award ceremony is slated for June 7.
