The city of Uyo, in Akwa Ibom state played host to who is who in the pharmaceutical industry, Community Pharmacists, Clinical, academic and other pharmaceutical professionals with stakeholders from all walks of life gathered at the historic Ibom Hall, IBB Avenue, Uyo, Akwa Ibom state for the 97th Annual National Conference of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN).

Themed “transforming pharmaceutical innovations to facilitate equitable healthcare in an emerging economy”, the 5-day conference was held from 4th-9th November, 2024

The 97th Conference also witnessed the election of a new president of PSN in the person of Pharmacist Ayuba Tanko Ibrahim, after a successful leadership of leadership Pharmacist Professor Cyril Odianose Usifoh (FPSN).

Prof Usifoh served as the 38th President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) after beating his opponents in an election held during the 94th Annual National Conference in Port Harcourt in November 2021. And his leadership recorded numerous achievements.
