United States President-elect Donald Trump has revealed that Twitter and Tesla owner, Elon Musk can never be President of the United States.
He stated this while dismissing claims that he will transfer the presidency to billionaire Elon Musk.
Trump’s comments come a day after President Joe Biden signed a funding bill into law to prevent a government shutdown.
The previous bill, negotiated by members of both parties in Congress, faced criticism days earlier when Trump and Musk publicly opposed it.
Recall that Musk’s influence, both before and after Trump’s electoral victory in November, has become a focal point for Democratic attacks.
Recall that Musk openly declared his support for Trump after a shooting at the former president’s rally in Pennsylvania.
The tech billionaire reportedly contributed an estimated $200 million to a Political Action Committee (PAC) supporting Trump.
However, speaking in Arizona on Sunday, Trump addressed widespread speculations, stating that the U.S. presidency will not be ceded to the owner of X (formerly Twitter).
“And no, he’s not taking the presidency. He’s not going to be president, that I can tell you. You know why he can’t be? He wasn’t born in this country,” Trump emphasized.
The former president also criticized his political opponents for perpetuating the narrative, describing the speculations as a “hoax.”
