NAIP to Host 2025 Economic Outlook Forum on Challenges in Nigeria's Pharmaceutical Industry

The Nigerian Association of Industrial Pharmacists (NAIP) is a professional body representing the interests of industrial pharmacists in Nigeria; fostering innovation, and promoting best practices within the pharmaceutical industry. The Association is gearing up for its much-anticipated 2025 Economic Outlook and CEO's Forum, scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the Providence Hotel in GRA Ikeja. The forum, themed "Surviving the Shocks and Taming the Tides by Strategies by Pharmaceutical Industry Key Players," aims to tackle the pressing challenges faced by the pharmaceutical sector and to devise innovative strategies for sustainable growth.

The event, which will begin at 10:00am, will convene industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders to engage in discussions about critical issues affecting the pharmaceutical landscape in Nigeria. Participants will have the opportunity to explore strategies for building resilience in the face of economic fluctuations and global health emergencies that have significantly disrupted operations and supply chains.

Prominent speakers are set to headline the event, providing valuable insights based on their extensive experience in the industry. The keynote address will be delivered by Mr. Alexander Ayoola Okoh, the former Director General of the Bureau for Public Enterprises. The forum will be hosted by Pharm. Ken Onuegbu, Chairman of NAIP and MD/CEO of Xential Pharmaceuticals. Pharm. Tanko Ayuba, President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), will serve as the Chief Host. Pharm. Martins Igbonacho, MD/CEO of Altinez Pharmaceuticals, is the Chairman of the Planning Committee, while Dr. Fidelis Ayebae, MD/CEO of Fidson Healthcare, will chair the occasion; sharing insights on navigating the industry's challenges in the coming year.
