The Super Eagles will open their campaign at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations against the Taifa Stars of Tanzania.

The Group C encounter will take place at the Complexe Sportif de Fès, Fès on Tuesday, December 23.

Eric Chelle’s side will take on the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia in their second group game four days later at the same venue.

Tunisia eliminated the Super Eagles in the Round of 16 at AFCON 2021.

Complexe Sportif de Fès will also host Nigeria’s last group game against the Cranes of Uganda on Tuesday, December 30.

The top two teams from the six groups along with four third best teams will advance to the knockout rounds of the competition.
